In the previous sessions, I discussed the two categories of web marketing: "Content" and "Public Relations." This time, I will talk about "Advertising."
Advertising, as the name suggests, is about "broadly informing many people about companies, products, services, etc."
Listing ads are advertisements conducted for specific keywords on platforms like "Google" and "Yahoo!" They appear at the top of search results when users search, allowing for effective targeting of users who are interested in products or services, thus making it easier to enhance cost-effectiveness.
Additionally, there is the advantage of being able to freely set budgets, making it easy to start with a low budget. Conversely, there is a drawback in that it is not suitable for approaching users whose needs have not yet become apparent.
Social media advertising is essential in current website management, as utilizing social media is indispensable. For example, Facebook's "Like Ads" and Twitter's "Promoted Accounts" are used to create 'connections' with consumers and targets. Furthermore, by using Instagram's "Post Ads" or Twitter's "Promoted Tweets," advertisers can direct users who click on ads to specific pages or encourage app installations, making it common to use ads aimed at 'communicating' messages.
